UPRM receives donative from Texas Instruments (in spanish only)
The Engineering Faculty at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez (UPRM) received a contribution of $150k from Texas Instruments (TI), with the purpose of providing equipment to the laboratories of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, and provide scholarships to students, among other projects that will result in offering new courses in this area.
The IAP Annual Conference
Texas Instruments Vice President, Gregg Lowe, acted as the main speaker at the Industry Affiliates Program (IAP) annual conference.
The IAP collaborates with the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
